6 ads that we liked
Welcome to the seventh edition of AdHuntr!
We've been gone a couple of weeks but are back on a sweet note.
This week we focus on ads that have the keyword 'chocolate' in them.
Chocolate bars, chocolate flavored protein powder and healthy chocolate bites were some of the products we came across during our search.
Before we get started though, consider forwarding this to people who might be interested. It helps more people discover the best social media ads being run by Indian brands.
Let's dive in!
1) Lil'Goodness

Ad Copy: Our Jaggery Chocolates have Zero ‘white’ sugar Prebiotic richness & gut-friendly Unrefined organic jaggeryHurry Now!Headline: USE CODE - JAGGERY20Description: COD AVAILABLECTA Type: Order Now Format: Images (Made into a gif by us for this email)Platform: Facebook, Instagram, Audience Network, MessengerLink URLFacebook Ads Library URL
Our Take: Bright colors work well to make people stop and pay attention. Using bold colors and tying in the image of their chocolate Lil'Goodness creates an ad that makes one curious. The text on the images is in a bold font and ensures that it can be easily scanned and having a coupon code mentioned on the image and the headline reinforces that a customer can get an immediate discount. The ad copy is short, but showcases the salient features of being Prebiotic and free of white sugar.
2) éntisi

Ad Copy: A fine delicate combination of selected chocolate and fresh cream. Our cubes collection is velvety smooth and will melt in your mouth, making it simply irresistible.Headline: Melt-In-Mouth CubesDescription: A fine delicate combination of selected chocolate and fresh cream. Our cubes collection is velvety smooth and will melt in your mouth, making it simply irresistible.CTA Type: Shop NowFormat: Images (Made into a gif by us for this email)Platform: Facebook, Instagram, Audience Network, MessengerLink URLFacebook Ads Library URL
Our Take: With it's clear product shots and nothing else, éntisi let's their chocolates do the talking in this one.The ad does commit a couple of major errors though. The URL used for the Shop Now button leads to a 'Page not found' error page and the description of the ad is the same as the Ad Copy. By fixing these we are sure performance could be improved.
3) Goli

Ad Copy:See you soon delicious bites with benefits! 🍫KSM-66® Ashwagandha is shown to help reduce cortisol, a stress-related hormone, which helps control stress-related food cravings. Our Goli® Bites are made with MILK chocolate acai berry flavor and a fluffy center - these bites are so delicious! Our superstar ingredient- KSM-66® Ashwagandha can also help to:🤎 Promote Quality of Sleep🤎 Reduce Stress & TensionEnjoy 2 bites twice daily.Just the good stuff! ✅🚫 Trans fats?! No way, not in these bites!🚫 Added preservatives?! Nope, not in these bites!Start paying attention to ingredient labels! Our labels clearly state the ingredients used to produce our delicious bites. We don’t use artificial flavors or added preservatives.Free Shipping on all orders at goli.com/calmHeadline: 🚫 Trans fats?! No way, not in these bites!Description: Free Expedited Shipping Worldwide CTA Type: Learn MoreFormat: ImagePlatform: Facebook, Instagram, Audience Network, MessengerLink URLFacebook Ads Library URL
Our Take: An open ended question combined with a bold colored background and a clear product shot made us stop and read the ad.By using the 'Learn More' instead of 'Shop Now' or 'Order Now' CTA made it feel as if the ad wanted to educate instead of just sell. The effort was further aided by it's detailed ad copy which lists out the benefits they wanted to provide clearly. One possible tweak they could try is having the active ingredients highlighted as a short piece of text below the product image to make it easier to scan.
Ad Copy: Low in sugar, high in taste, Max Protein cookies make sure to meet your diet goals while keeping you full with its 7 super grains.Headline: 25% OFF | Use Code 'Max25'CTA Type: Shop NowFormat: ImagePlatform: Facebook, InstagramLink URLFacebook Ads Library URL
Our Take: Ensuring that the customer has just a single message to scan through and then showcasing more information is a good way to capture customer interest. By the end of the ad the customer is aware of the benefits, price point, coupon code and COD payment options.
With such completeness of information it ensures that customers feel confident when they do click through to the product page.
5) Open Secret
Ad Copy: Chocolate can be GOOD for your kids too! Nope, not a typo.Because we Un-Junked your kids’ all-time-favorite dessert! 🍫✅ Zero Refined Sugar✅ Made with Jaggery✅ No Artificial Preservatives✨ Open Secret: Un-Junking Family SnacksCTA Type: Shop NowHeadlines: Get 10% Off | Use Code: UNJUNK2.0Description: Loved by 6lakh+ families!Format: VideoPlatform: Facebook, Instagram, Audience Network, MessengerLink URLFacebook Ads Library URL
Our Take: Who doesn't want 'Chocolates without refined Sugar'? By focusing on that in their opening question, Good Secret creates a great hook to keep potential customers watching the ad. Showcasing exactly what the product inside the pack looks like builds trust with customers pushing them closer to clicking through. The ad copy continues to push the knowledge angle with clearly laid out benefits for customers to read. One tweak we would have made is to link to the product page instead of the category page, to keep customers as close to checkout as possible.
6) Yoga Bars

Ad Copy:The Tastiest Protein Snack in the World. Love Chocolate? It's finally Guilt-Free!⭐ 7G Protein⭐ No Added Sugar⭐ Filled with Dried Fruits + Nuts + SeedsCTA Type: Shop NowHeadline: 🤩 Upto 55% Off on Super Saver CombosDescription: Best Deals on www.yogabar.inFormat: ImagePlatform: Facebook, Instagram, Audience Network, MessengerLink URLFacebook Ads Library URL
Our Take: Catchy copy that introduces the concept of health in between the words 'Just' and 'Dessert' and benefits that were easy to understand made this ad noteworthy. We would have probably added a starting price somewhere in the ad just so that customers have a sense of price anchoring.
